Some people win many medals and some may only get one. The Olympics is a very intense event because the modern Olympics have developed over time, and because there are many adrenaline pumping winter sports like bobsleigh. First, the modern Olympics have been going for a while. The first modern Olympics were in April of 1896. The Olympics had stopped for a while and had started again. ("Olympic Games" 17) The first one was in Athens, Greece. The first modern Olympics were supposed to be Paris with the World’s Fair. Many enjoy watching the participant dart down the track (FIBT FEDERATION) Germany holds the record for the bobsled. They also have a player who has won the most gold medals in this event.
